16. Near the Midland Railway Centre, Butterley, Ripley. Along a private road leading to a farm and the back of the Railway Centre is an old GLS 'Coolie-Con' enamelled reflector lantern mounted on a telegraph pole. There are not even the remains of a lamp in the lantern now, but a fuse unit and Venner time switch box are still installed (although the latter appears to be held to the pole only by the electric cable now!). Surprisingly, very little rusting seems to be occurring, but moss is growing all over the lantern and components.
