4o. Off Alice Street, Derby City Centre. Located behind the houses that make up the quadrant of Alice Street, Keys Street, Robert Street and Nottingham Road is a relatively modern-looking tubular steel column supporting a Thorn Gamma 5 lantern. Owing to the similarities in this installation to those seen on Arthur Hind Close, this lantern is likely to run a 125 W MBF lamp, and is probably of a similar age. Other columns exist behind the houses in this area; however, they now support Tamlite Tamrise post-top lanterns. These too run mercury lamps, however.

As access to this column is extremely limited, the installation is instead picture from Robert Street, with the camera's zoom set to maximum. Notice the OrangeTEK TerraLED lanterns installed on St Alkmund's Way in the background.
