Low Pressure Sodium - Single Ended (SO/H) Lamps

First developed by Philips in 1932, SO/H lamps were the first commercial sodium vapour lamps. Production of these lamps continued until the mid-1960s. These lamps feature a removable arc tube that is encased by an outer Dewar jacket; reducing heat losses and allowing the arc tube to reach a sufficient temperature for the sodium to vaporise.

Currently, I have examples of lamps made by the following manufacturers:

| OSRAM | Philips |

| GLS | MBF | MCF | MBT | Cold Cathode | Glow Discharge | SOI/H | SOX | SLI/H | Halogen | SON | MBI | CFL | Electrodeless | Hybrid | Cosmopolis | LED Retrofit |
