10. WRTL 2015 and WRTL Heritage Column (originally supporting a 'Circa' lantern).
Spotted in early 2005, on Pride Parkway, in Derby's City Centre. Both of these damaged installations are within a few metres of each other, however I do not believe that they were damaged at the same time.
What I think happened: The heritage column looks to have been crashed into as there are scrapes on the base, and the scrollwork on the bracket has come loose. The cast embellishment at the foot has been removed, revealing that the column is just a plain one in reality. The lantern has probably been put into storage until repairs can be carried out as I'd imagine that it'd be expensive to replace as Circas are not (to my knowledge) used anywhere else in the area.
The 2015 has possibly been vandalised, as the bowl and canopy are gone. The gear tray has been turned upside-down for some reason, with the ballast and capacitor only just managing to hold on thanks to the cables that connect them.
