Most of the outgoing road lanterns along here would have replaced Thorn Beta 7s running 80 Watt MBF in the mid 1990s. The following photographs were taken on Sunday, 28th March 2010.

The two 'example' pictures I have taken here both feature Philips MI 26 35 Watt SOX lanterns as the outgoing lanterns, though owing to different bracket types employed to support the two lanterns, the installations share few other visual similarities.

This non-hinged column was on the footpath leading to Hailsham Close.
