Local Advanced LEDs Claras
Although used extensively throughout neighbouring Staffordshire, the Clara is yet to make a widespread appearance on public roads in Derbyshire, with only one known example installed.
This industrial estate in Chesterfield was home to this only-known example; the County Council's main Street Lighting depot was based here, and so the estate's lighting columns are often used to trial new lanterns, in order to assess performance, ease of installation and maintenance, etc.
Six closely-spaced LEDs can be seen within the lantern's small optic.
The Advanced LEDs logo is cast into the front of the lantern. A Zodion Super6 one-part photocell provides switching control.
