Local Davis / ELECO GR 535s
The diminutive GR 535 lantern is rare in Derbyshire, and as all examples are generally attached to columns of a similar age, I can only assume that a small batch was ordered, perhaps due to supply issues with another lantern type at the time.
This GR 535 is located on Blind Lane in Breaston; the only example of its type on the road.
The wiring to the lampholder and the Zodion SS19-DLS miniature part-night photocell is plainly visible within the lantern.
This GR 535 can be found on South Avenue in Buxton.
A Royce Thompson ER4N two-part photocell detector is fitted to this lantern.
