Examples of this main road LED offering from Urbis can be seen on Rykneld Road in Burnaston, just before the Derby City boundary, where the road falls into the City suburb of Littleover.
New 10 m columns supporting these modern-looking lanterns were installed on the road as part of a new housing development in late 2015; these pictures were taken in February 2016.
Three individual LED clusters are visible within the lantern.
The front and middle circuit boards feature 16 LEDs each, whilst the rear board has 24.
The lanterns are mounted directly to their column spigots, although side-entry mounting is possible as an alternative.
