Derby's Street Lighting PFI Contract

Radbourne Lane - Prince Charles Avenue Footpath, Mackworth Estate

This footpath was lit with various 35 Watt SOX lanterns fitted to Abacus raise-and-lower columns prior to the PFI commencing. Cosmo Iridiums have again been used as replacements but are mounted to new Mallatite mid-hinged columns, even though the Abacus equipment was fairly new.

Following resurfacing of the footpath in May 2018, these lights were, once again, replaced - columns of the same specification but fitted with OrangeTEK AriaLED Mini lanterns were installed. Click here for details.
