109E. Meanwood Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire With thanks to Dwight for informing me of this Survivor. Situated adjacent the offices for Andrews' Tiles is a Stanton 7 15 ft (5 m) concrete column supporting a 'B'-type top-entry bracket and GEC Z5590 lantern. The installation is in relatively poor condition, with extensive spalling being present at the column's connection to its bracket, while the presence of wall-mounted LED floodlights adjacent the column suggest that the lantern does not work any longer.

This version of the 7B, with a wider base to the column, and a decorative gap in the bracket fin, is the original design, dating from the late 1940s until the early 1950s.

Visible in the background of the above image is this Revo Prefect attached to a wall bracket.

With the Z5590 being a 1960s' product, it could have replaced an earlier lantern.

With the column being positioned at a lower height than the adjacent roadway is set at, the top section of the B-type "Shepherd's Crook" bracket is visible here.

Although the Z5590's polycarbonate bowl has discoloured heavily, a glass refractor remains visible around the lamp.

Although ladder bars were an option with the 7 column series, their inclusion is rare. Owing to the advanced decay of the surrounding concrete, I would hope that they serve only as a decorative feature these days, rather than being relied upon to support a ladder safely!

Another view of the installation from base height.

A small amount of dirt exists in the lowest portion of the bowl.
