119A. Off Hammonds Way, Hinckley, Leicestershire Situated within the grounds of the Hammonds Furniture factory are two 'Estate Minor X' 15 ft (5 m) concrete columns made by Concrete Utilities (CU Phosco) topped with the same company's P107 lanterns. With these installations being in private ownership, their operational status is unknown, although as a third column with a severe lean was removed at some point after April 2023, and not replaced (or even returned to vertical), in all likelihood, the two remaining lights may not be used any longer.

The first column is situated just within the site's perimeter fence.

A 1980s' Royce Thompson P5 photocell is fitted to the centre of the (slightly bent) P107 canopy. A slight crack is visible at the top of the column.

The second column is set in slightly further, but is otherwise identical in appearance to the first.

The 'Across Road' marker is plainly visible on the base casting of this lantern. As a refractor ring is installed within the lantern, the orientation is important for the beam distribution to be correct. The indicator does point across the road outside the site, and so, it is, technically, correct, but as the lantern is supposed to be lighting the surrounding area, I would have positioned it the other way around.

Also visible from outside of the perimeter fence are two ELECO HW-746 lanterns attached to wall brackets that pass through an asbestos roof structure.

The Perspex bowls on the ELECO lanterns have become opalescent over time, giving a cloudy white appearance to the plastic.

The brackets have a slight upward-facing tilt, in an attempt to cast the beam further forward.

As separate LED floodlights are installed, I suspect that these lanterns may not be operational any longer either.
