141A. Saint Laurence Church, Main Street, Norwell, Nottinghamshire With thanks to Hayden Bray for informing me of this Survivor. Located within the churchyard is a fluted cast iron column supporting an ESLA swan neck bracket and AC Ford AC 352 lantern. As with other churchyard Survivors, the installation may not be original to the site; nevertheless, it appears suitably in-keeping with the historical church building.

A modern passive infrared detector is positioned on the rear of the ESLA fuse box - this would cause the lantern to activate for only a few minutes whenever someone walked into the beam of the detector.

The close-up image reveals that the lantern's original lampholder, reflector and refractor prism are all missing, and a modern domestic batten lampholder is installed, with a Philips SL Comfort Compact Fluorescent lamp fitted.

The ESLA cover remains screwed to the front of the fuse box.

A narrow strip of metal fastened to the column serves as a ladder bar, in the event that the lantern requires maintenance.

The swan neck bracket's finial is of the same design as is used on my 1970 Thorn Beta 5's swan neck.
