152A. The White Lion Public House, off Tamworth Road, Sawley Installed within the outdoor seating area to the rear of the pub is a Revo 'Hull' 15 ft (5 m) cast iron column, supporting a swan neck bracket and Thorn Beta 4 lantern. Although the column was installed as part of a refurbishment of the garden area at some point after 2016, the fact that it is a genuinely 'old' product with a 'proper' street lighting lantern allows it to be included here. The lantern is likely to be in operational condition, providing illumination to the seating area after nightfall.

The column is something of a central focal point; its paintwork being in immaculate condition to reflect this.

The swan neck is plain, without any decorative scrollwork attached to the bracket pipe.

The finial looks to be of ESLA design, with the decorations being smaller than they are on equivalent Revo finials. The Beta 4's polycarbonate bowl has discoloured, although this is likely to date to its previous use as an actual street lighting lantern somewhere.

The patterning around the base of the Hull column is somewhat different to that of the 'Moseley' column, with the tapering section being noticeably narrower.
