211F. Nursery Terrace, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk With thanks to Dwight for informing me of these Survivors. Installed along this short cul-de-sac are three distinctive lighting installations, with the first being (arguably) the most noteworthy. This comprises a Stanton 10 15 ft (5 m) concrete column topped with an ELECO PT-1006 'Lunar' lantern, probably intended for running a 35 Watt SOX (low pressure sodium) lamp, although this may have been changed to an LED retro-fit now. A second Stanton 10 on the road, fitted with a swan neck bracket and Thorn Beta 5 lantern, may have also run a PT-1006 originally. Another Beta 5 attached to a swan neck makes up the third installation - this one is a fluted cast iron column on the footpath that passes at the end of the road.

The PT-1006 appears to be positioned at the wrong angle for the road below; however, this is an optical illusion - in reality, it is positioned correctly.

A slight dent exists in the front of the lantern's canopy.

From the front, the lantern looks to be circular, when it is actually oval.

There is also a small crack visible in the front of the bowl.

If the second column did support a PT 1006 originally, the fitting of the swan neck has increased the installation's overall height somewhat.

An LED retro-fit lamp is installed within the Beta 5.

The cast iron column is relatively short, though as it is only providing lighting for the footpath, this is not an issue.

The swan neck bracket incorporates a Revo - Tipton fuse box, although the finial decoration is an AC Ford design.
