57AK. Crewe Street, Crewe, Cheshire With thanks to Leo Conway for discovering this Survivor. Attached above a doorway to the disused and partially demolished Christ Church building is a cast iron Revo bulkhead light fitting, of unknown exact type. With much of the demolition having occurred in 1977 (one hundred years after the tower, which still survives, was constructed), and the final service having occurred in 2013, the bulkhead is unlikely to have been used for many years, and today, is in relatively poor condition, although the front prismatic glass refractor survives.
The other surviving doorways around the church building also feature bulkhead fittings, though only this one now has a Revo one above it.
Heavy corrosion is present to the cast iron bodywork, while the hinged front cover is hanging slightly open.
The glass front is similar in design to that employed in the Lacent bulkhead fitting.
