70A. The Running Horse Inn, Long Bank, Bewdley, Worcestershire Installed within the pub car park is a 1960s' 15 ft (5 m) Revo 'Angelo' concrete column supporting a B12858 side-entry bracket and C13721/S 'Baby Dalek' lantern, also made by Revo. Originally, the lantern would have run a 45 - 60 Watt SO/H / SOI/H low pressure sodium lamp, but through advances in lamp technology, a 35 Watt SOX lamp would be fitted in more recent times. The current operational status of the installation is unknown, as although there are floodlights elsewhere in the car park, the area where this installation exists would be unlit without its input.
The column is to be found on a front corner of the car park, with the bracket angled diagonally to the parking spaces.
The dimpled pattern to the lantern's Perspex bowl, particularly along the front, is the reason that this type of lantern is known as a Dalek amongst collectors; the design resembling the fronts of the Doctor Who characters.
The Angelo column design is similar in appearance to Stanton's 7 series.
The bracket is spalling badly at its joint with the column.
