Off Arthur Street, Lakeside, Redditch, Worcestershire Located within the compound for a premises are two 25 ft (8 m) Abacus tubular steel columns, both of which support an Atlas Alpha 3 lantern, designed for running a 250 - 400 Watt MBF (mercury vapour) lamp. Although the columns are in poor condition, the lanterns themselves could still have been in operable condition when these pictures were taken in December 2025, despite newer floodlights facing into the yard from the main depot building.

The first column is seen to the right of the access gates. Considerable surface rust exists for the length of both it and the bracket.

The bowl is relatively clean, revealing that a 250 Watt elliptical lamp of some repute remains installed within the lantern. The painted white diffusion spot on the lowest portion of the bowl has worn off entirely, assuming that such detail ever existed.

The second installation is positioned further back in the yard, at ninety degrees to the first.

The lantern has swivelled slightly on its bracket, and while is visible within it too, the bowl appears grubbier.
