115b. West Bars, Chesterfield On the site of a former car park are two Thorn Gamma 3s on 5 m aluminium columns. These lanterns are more commonly seen on taller columns, and the smaller Gamma 5 is employed for this column height. Considering that the car park is derelict (but carries listed status, believe it or not, and so cannot simply be demolished), it is unlikely that the lanterns work any longer - one is missing its canopy and the door on the other column has been removed, perhaps as a result of a collision when the car park was still open.

A bowlless Thorn Beta 5 can be seen attached to the wall above the former exit gate.
