48. Amerton Working Farm, Staffordshire. Part of the land at this centre has a light railway set up, just for a bit of fun. On the platform of the 'station' is an old gas lantern, now converted to electricity. The gas pipe coming out of the spider is visible, but it is no longer connected up to anything. Usually I wouldn't bother with such lanterns as there are many like this, but I thought that I might as well seeing as I'd photographed a far more interesting lantern mounted to the engine sheds - an open tungsten lantern, perhaps a Bleeco or Holophane design.
