72e. Beamhurst Museum, near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire. This very quirky, fascinating museum is home to a number of varying artefacts from a bygone era, including numerous vintage radios, telephones and grandfather clocks, and is well worth a visit; see the official website for current open days and times. The site's relevance to street lighting is that a Wardle Murray lantern is attached to one of the buildings by means of a short wall bracket.

Along with the modern LED floodlight and older glass-bowled wall light, the Murray provides an interesting brief evolution of outdoor lighting equipment.

Although not connected up, and not fitted with a lamp, the Murray is in good condition, as is its acrylic refractor ring.
