The following photographs were taken on Sunday, 7th November 2010.
A WRTL Arc lantern had been retrofitted to the first column on this road.
Given the sharp upward tilt of this installation's bracket, the lantern's internal tilt should have been reduced, as it is too steep at this angle. The use of an elliptical SON lamp (a Radium brand) suggests that a tubular lamp may have proven too glary for residents living opposite to contend with.
The replacement Iridium is set to the standard tilt of five degrees above the horizontal.
The Arc is likely to have replaced a Thorn Beta 5 - the following column provides an idea as to how the installation would have originally looked.
