The following photographs were taken on Saturday, 19th March 2011.
Two Thorn Alpha 8 lanterns attached to 8 m tubular steel columns were first from St Mary's Bridge. The replacement columns are 6 m in height.
The first lantern was group-switched from elsewhere; hence, the lack of a photocell control.
The second lantern was individually switched, however - a Royce Thompson SC1000 was fitted.
A nearby footpath joined the road at this point; the lighting being located on the record for Britannia Court.

The record for this lamp suggests that a 70 Watt SON lantern was installed here in 1997; however, the installation now supported a Philips FGS 103 35 Watt SOX lantern; the Stainton hinged column still appeared reasonably new, and was perhaps a later replacement.
A Royce Thompson Oasis 2000 70 Lux photocell was fitted to the FGS 103.
The next outgoing column on the footpath was older, but it too had had its original lantern replaced:

A Philips Iridium was attached to the column's spigot. This lantern pre-dates the PFI; it being fitted in place of a GEC Z5699 when the supply cable was changed from being group-switched to being permanently live in 2006 in order to supply some CCTV cameras. The Z5699s were not fitted with their own photocells; with the result that they all operated continuously after the group-switching control was decommissioned. One was saved into my collection after these individually-switched Iridiums were fitted instead.
Returning to Duke Street, the columns now decreased in height from 8 m to 5 m. A top-entry Thorn Beta 5 was fitted here.
This column is likely to have once supported a side-entry 80 Watt MBF lantern, but was later converted to the far more energy efficient SOX lighting; the side-to-top-entry converter elbow being fitted at the same time.
Another column around the corner also accommodated an Iridium; this replacing a SOX lantern in the mid-2000s, in response to antisocial behaviour in the area after nightfall.
I dislike the appearance of this installation - the size of the Iridium looks out of proportion to the rest of the column.
A nearby 6 m column had also had its lantern (a 55 Watt SOX, but would have been a 125 Watt MBF installation when new) replaced with an Iridium.
