The following photographs were taken on Sunday, 11th April and Sunday, 18th April 2010. Not all of the columns here are under the ownership of the Street Lighting department - some are owned by the Housing Association, and thus will probably not be removed under the PFI.

The first column ended its days with a Thorn Beta 5 fitted. A GEC Z5698U would have been installed here originally.

One of the new columns was installed further down the footpath from the previous installation:

Another column supporting a Beta 5 was visible near its replacement. This Beta 5 is likely to be original to the column.

A sole-surviving Z5698U existed on the footpath leading to The Hollow.

Another column was also installed on the footpath. This supported a Thorn Gamma 6 lantern. The use of an unpainted column here signifies that this installation belongs to the Housing Association.
