The following photographs were taken on the 4th April 2010 - Easter Sunday. The outgoing columns supported a variety of lanterns. The outgoing columns had all been removed by Friday, 23rd April 2010.
The first column on the estate supported a rather weathered GEC Z9532 lantern running a 35 Watt SOX lamp.
Moving further up the hill, a Simplex Aries lantern was located opposite Bradwell Close.
The new columns were largely positioned within a few metres of the outgoing columns.
A Philips MI 50 was located opposite Holmesfield Drive.
The newest 'old' lantern on this road was this Thorn Beta 5 (right) - this would have replaced a failed 35 Watt SOX lantern (either a Z9532, Aries, MI 50 or Beta 5) in the mid 2000s:
Finally, a remotely-geared Beta 5 completes the lighting on Stanage Green. Notice the unusual placement of the NEMA photocell socket:
