The following photographs were taken on Saturday, 13th November 2010, unless otherwise stated.

A variety of columns existed along this road, although most were sleeved Stanton 10F concretes. A Thorn Beta 5 is seen on the left; a Philips MI 26 is seen on the right.

This Beta 5 was installed on a newer tubular column:

A second MI 26 followed - this was also the last example of the popular Philips lantern installed on this road.

One of the 10F columns still retained its original concrete bracket, complete with top-entry Beta 5.

This pre-1981 side-entry Beta 5 was installed on a shorter tubular steel column. A rather rusty swan neck bracket supported the lantern.

Arguably the most interesting outgoing installation along this road was a vintage Revo cast iron column - quite possibly one of the original columns from when the road was built.

An extension pipe linked the column to the bracket. Even in the column's rusted state, it still carried a certain graceful appearance

A remotely-geared Simplex Aries provided illumination to the entrance to the mobile home park.

An FKI-Cableform SS5 photocell from the early 1990s was fitted to the last Beta 5 covered on this page.

The outgoing lighting was still in use on Saturday, 27th November. Snow had fallen earlier that morning - making for a very wintry scene!

Owing to the new lights still not being operational, the snow had not melted from the canopies.
