Just short of a month after the final 1967 Stock train ran on the Victoria line, the interior of a 2009 Stock car is seen on Wednesday, 27th July. The train was travelling southbound between Stockwell and Brixton at the time. The overall shape of the car is reminiscent of the Central line’s 1992 Stock (also built by the company that eventually became Bombardier); although, the lighting and windows are vastly different between the two stocks.

White LEDs positioned almost at floor level provide additional illumination in the doorways whenever the adjacent doors are open.
