173M. Drakes Broughton, Pershore, Worcestershire With thanks to Dwight for informing me of these Survivors. Continuing to provide nightly service in this small village are three older installations attached to 15 ft (5 m) concrete columns, all three of which are made by different manufacturers. The lanterns comprise a GEC Z5670 post-top, an AC Ford AC 850, and an AC 888.

The Z5670 is on Walcot Lane, and is attached to a Stanton 10 column.

Unusually, the bowl is acrylic, rather than polycarbonate. This has ensured that it has remained transparent and colourless.

The AC 850 is located on Beech Avenue, and is attached to a 'Byway-X' column and Arc 4 bracket, both made by Concrete Utilities.

By comparison, this lantern's bowl is polycarbonate, and has discoloured over time, owing to the use of a mercury vapour (MBF) lamp.

Slightly unusually, the column door uses the standard triangle bolt lock, instead of Concrete Utilities' own "drop-latch" locking system.

The AC 888 is on Shrubbery Road, and is attached to an ELECOSlim column.

As has been pictured elsewhere in Pershore, the column uses a sleeve that can accommodate a top-entry lantern.

The bowl here is also discoloured rather substantially.

Cast into the door is the ELECO logo.
