180G. Church Walks, Llandudno, Conwy Situated within the grounds of the Bryn Tirion Guest House is a short cast iron column supporting a GEC Z5640 post-top lantern. As this is a private installation, the lantern is likely to run a domestic-type lamp, rather than a discharge lamp, but remains noteworthy, owing to the Z5640 being a rather rare lantern in 2023.

The column appears to be 'genuinely' old, although the ladder bars are more suspect.

This must be an older Z5640 than my own example is, owing to the use of a Perspex bowl here; my own has a polycarbonate bowl.
