67A. South View, Church Mayfield, Staffordshire With thanks to AgentHalogen_87 for informing me of these Survivors. Attached to buildings near the Mayfield Yarns factory complex are three GEC Z5760 bulkhead lights. Surprisingly, despite being a long way off the main road, and having to be accessed by travelling through Derbyshire, they are believed to be public street lights belonging to Staffordshire County Council. These examples run 70 Watt SON (high pressure sodium) lamps with internal ignitors, but the Z5760 was designed for running 35 Watt SOX (low pressure sodium) lamps, as well as 80 - 125 Watt MBF (mercury vapour) lamps, which may be what they ran originally.

The first of the Z5760s is on the corner of this factory building.

A cast aluminium AC Ford enclosure positioned beneath the bulkhead houses the electricity supply cut-out for each fitting, though the example here is installed upside-down for some reason.

This example is seen attached to a shorter building around the corner.

All three Z5760s are switched using Zodion SS6 photocells, though the one fitted here is obscured by the bulkhead's outreach.

The final example is positioned facing opposite the South View housing terrace.

The close-up reveals that the photocell is rated at 55 Lux.

The black paint applied to the Z5760's metalwork has faded over time, while the polycarbonate bowl has discoloured.
