179. Off Alyn Road, Gwersyllt, Wrexham. Largely obscured by tree branches in the car park for a betting shop stands a Benjamin 'Duoflux' shovel-type floodlight attached to a vertical pole. No lamp could be seen fitted into the floodlight, and given the abundance of the tree branches, the fitting is unlikely to have seen any use for some time; however, it looked relatively free of corrosion, with the enamelled internal reflector appearing in fair condition, despite the abandonment.

Only in the zoomed-in image on the right does the floodlight's presence become apparent!

I can (barely) see the flood for the trees!

Standing back slightly allows the hollow where the lamp should be situated to be seen.
