204. B1106, Fornham St. Genevieve, Bury St. Edmund's, Suffolk Situated on the western exit of the B1106 roundabout is a Stanton 10 concrete column supporting a Phosco P107 post-top lantern running an elliptical lamp, possibly an 80 Watt mercury vapour (MBF) type. The column seems of little benefit to motorists traversing the roundabout; instead, it may be intended for the use of pedestrians using the adjacent footpath after nightfall, especially with the well-established trees being between the footpath and the road, with all other columns situated at the rear of the former and not the latter.

This is the more common wide-canopied version of the P107.

Although difficult to see here, a glass refractor dome surrounds the lamp within the lantern.

The wires for the two-part photocell detector (mounted on top of the canopy, out of shot here) are visible towards the top of the lantern.
