Forge Lane, Stretton, Burton-Upon-Trent, Staffordshire Located on the opposite side of the junction seen on the previous page, Forge Lane is home to another Stanton 10F 15 ft (5 m) concrete column in original condition. This example, however, has a 1970s' GEC Z9531 fitted - this being the top-entry, separate gear version of the Z9532.
The column is only a short distance down Forge Lane.
The use of the smaller Z9531 changes the installation's overall appearance quite considerably.
A section of the thread on the top-entry coupler is exposed between the bracket and the lantern's canopy.
A crack has formed in the back of the bracket, signifying the beginning of the end for this column.
