5b. Penny Long Lane, Darley Abbey. Along this road are some 1930s' Stanton 1 concrete columns, similar to the example seen in Little Eaton, where the bracket is made of cast iron. They are due to be removed very soon by the looks of things, as new columns with lampless Beta 2s have been installed alongside them, as in Mackworth.

These columns have, since, been removed (5th March 2004).
