87ba. Duke of Wellington Public House, Wellington Street, Matlock. Attached to a wall at the rear of the pub building is a Revo C13723/S ("Dalek") lantern running a 90 Watt SOX lamp, although when new, this would have been a 140 Watt SO/H / SOI/H lamp instead, which is the same physical size. The lantern remains in operational condition; indeed, it was working on the day that these pictures were taken, and provides illumination to the pub's car parking area. An abandoned Stanton 7 concrete column survives in the car park too; this may have supported a Dalek lantern as well, originally, although no evidence exists of this.

The lantern is installed at a relatively low height; the physical height of the building limiting it from being installed at a higher point.

The dimply Perspex bowl has become slightly translucent with age, but appears to be intact.

How much longer this lantern will be able to emit the characteristic glow of a low pressure sodium lamp remains to be seen.
