88. Off the A6 Derby Rd, Cromford. Opposite the 'Masson Mills' shopping complex is a steep track leading to several properties. About three-quarters along the road is a Simplex Solumbra post-top lantern running a 35 Watt SOX lamp. The lantern is switched via a two-part cell due to it being the remotely-geared version. I am surprised that a standard tubular steel column was employed for this lantern as access for maintenance vehicles would be difficult due to the gradient as well as the narrowness of the road.
