The following photographs were taken on the 4th April 2010 - Easter Sunday. Two of the three columns being removed here supported GEC Z5698U lanterns.

The 'no dog fouling' sign plate attached to the first column seemed to have been installed more for the benefit of the dogs themselves, rather than for their owners - it was fitted rather low!

The second outgoing column was positioned on the footpath linking Barf Close, Freesia Close and Kipling Drive.

The third column was an early 2000s replacement. A Thorn Beta 5 was fitted.

Owing to the new columns being positioned at different locations to those of the outgoing column, an additional column was installed on the footpath, near where the footpath emerged on Kipling Drive.
