Unusually for the 'Silverhill' estate, Rothwell Road does not appear to have been lit with 80 Watt Thorn Beta 7 lanterns until the 1990s - the first column from Ladybank Road supported a GEC Z9532 and the other column supported a Thorn Beta 5 from the 1980s - the lighting here was therefore either replaced in advance of the majority of the rest of the estate, or this road is of a later build. The road merges with Denver Road at the Malvern Close junction, hence the inventory record only showing two installations on this road.
