111C. Off Lichfield Road, Tamworth, Staffordshire Located on a private road leading to a single property is a 15 ft (5 m) Stanton 10 concrete column with a short outreach side-entry bracket and Revo Diadem lantern, designed for 60 - 200 Watt GLS (tungsten filament) and 80 - 125 Watt MBF (mercury vapour) lamps. One explanation for the placement of this column is that there is also an electrical substation on the road, and so the column may have been installed for the use of engineers working on the substation at night. Whatever the case, the installation is in good condition, and doesn't appear derelict.

The column emerges from the surrounding undergrowth, and is quite well hidden from the main Lichfield Road because of this.

Unlike the later Diadem lanterns produced by Simplex, the Revo examples feature glass refractor bowls.

The lantern's tilt on the bracket is exaggerated in this image, but does allow the patch of dirt within the lantern to be seen clearly.
