164AG. Gloucester Street, Sydenham, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire With thanks to AgentHalogen_87 for informing me of this Survivor. Attached to one of this town's famous cream-painted buildings is a small curved AC Ford AC 76 top-entry bracket and fuse box assembly, supporting a Thorn Beta 4 lantern. Although the lantern remains fitted with a lamp, it may no longer be used, as the road is also lit with TRT Aspect LED lanterns attached to 1980s' tubular steel columns (that supported GEC Z8832s / Siemens/WRTL SRL 8s originally).

The supply cable enters through the underside of the fuse box, having passed through a steel conduit system that passes below pavement level.

The right-hand sides of the slats to which the bracket attaches seem to have pulled away from their wall fixings.

Although the Beta 4's polycarbonate bowl is discoloured, the lamp (whatever type and wattage it may be) is still visible within it.

The short outreach of the bracket is demonstrated in this view looking back towards Bath Street.

If anything, the bracket pipe curve radius appears tighter towards the lantern end. If any lamp control gear is installed, this will be shoehorned into the AC Ford fuse box.

A 1980s' Royce Thompson P6 photocell is fitted to the front-facing portion of the Beta 4's canopy.
