97GC. Gilbert Road, Lichfield, Staffordshire With thanks to Dwight for informing me of this Survivor. Attached to a 15 ft (5 m) Abacus tubular steel column located in a short spur off the main cul-de-sac, containing garages for the surrounding properties, is a GEC Z5670 post-top lantern; probably a Z5678 to be exact, which is the variant that could accommodate a 35 Watt SOX lamp (though Staffordshire favours SOX-E lamps instead, meaning that a 26 Watt lamp could be fitted).

The paint is peeling on the column shaft, although there is little evidence of corrosion to the steelwork.

This Z5670 features the later GRP canopy - earlier versions had a spun aluminium canopy instead.
