23. The Wheatsheaf, Long Eaton. Thanks to Claire for this information. On the side of this public house is an old GEC lantern. The lantern may well still work - a tungsten lamp is still connected inside. The internal refractor ring is damaged, and the bowl is dirty, but at least the bracket and lantern are painted - bright blue!

 
 
 

The bracket is very similar to the one seen in #11, but is longer, and has a Bleeco control box.

This lantern was removed in early 2005.
