The ESLA in Winter 2010
The snow that fell towards the end of November remained into December, and fresh overnight snowfalls on the first day of this month ensured that the column received a thorough coating by the morning.
The snow still covered the ground by Sunday, 5th December, although it had largely disappeared from the column itself. A sharp frost once again revealed several cobwebs attached to the installation.
