Station Rd Replacements - Night Photographs

While work was taking place, I took a few night photographs (the circular blob that obscures the top-left of some of these pictures is a rain droplet I didn't know about until it was too late!):

This is my version of the photograph taken by the Derby Trader reporter when someone complained that the new lanterns were "too tall and not effective".

This is the first Alpha 1 that is pictured on page 8A. The lantern lights the adjacent tree up in a way that makes it look like coral!

More lanterns that weren't removed in 2004 due to the telephone cable accident. My second Alpha 1 is obscured by the sign but it was working.

A little further down the road now - this shows several Civics as well as the 50 Watt clear mercury beacon photographed on page 7.

Finally is this somewhat psychedelic photograph of the first two Civics that replaced the gearless MA 90s.
